If you have private health insurance or Work Cover Corporation covers you, your account will be forwarded, on your behalf, to the Health Fund.
We advise patients to check their health insurance cover before admission. We will also do so and advise you of any excess outstanding for your surgery. You will be required to pay any gap amount not covered by your fund. This fee must be settled at or before your admission to the day hospital.
Patients who are not covered by private health insurance or Work Cover will be required to settle their account on the day of admission.
You will receive a separate account from the doctor performing your procedure, and your anaesthetist. Payment to Adelaide Day Surgery does not cover doctor's and anaesthetist's fees.
