Before you leave our hospital we will give you a report with instructions regarding after-care and any medications required.

please contact your referring doctor immediately.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
In the first 12 hours after an anaesthetic / sedation:-
Do not drive a car or operate machinery
Do not have a heavy meal, drink alcohol, conduct business or sign legal documents.
When leaving the hospital after having an anaesthetic / sedation you must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Do not drive or travel alone. No matter how you feel an escort is essential for your safety.
