Henry joined the Cura Day Hospitals Group as a senior corporate finance practitioner in 2008 after working with the international accounting firm, Deloitte for several years. Henry holds an Honours degree specialising in Accounting Sciences and Auditing. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
During his time at Deloitte Henry gained extensive experience working in the Assurance & Advisory and Corporate Finance teams managing several projects across industries including Health.
Since joining Cura Henry has focussed on varied business development activities within the group while contributing to corporate management. Henry's key responsibilities include financial risk analysis and the identification and resolution of key merger and integration issues. His responsibilities also include maintaining Cura's relationships and the negotiation of Cura's Hospital Purchaser Provider Agreements with all Private Health Insurance funds and government. He supports and actively takes part in Cura's shareholder communications.
Henry maintains an active interest in all areas of the Private Hospital Industry and on a day to day basis contributes to the evaluation of capital allocation considerations around facility expansions and upgrades and equipment purchases,.
In 2010 Henry was elected to the Council of the Australian Private Hospitals Association.
