When You Leave

Before you leave our hospital we will give you a report with instructions regarding after-care and medications.

If you have any questions or concerns following the procedure, please contact your referring doctor immediately.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

In the first 12 hours after an anaesthetic/sedation:-

do not drive a car or operate machinery,

do not have a heavy meal, drink alcohol, conduct business or sign legal documents.

When leaving the Surgery after having an anaesthetic/sedation you must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Do not drive or travel alone. No matter how you feel an escort is essential for your safety.
