Please remember to bring your health fund book and/or card with you when you collect your Pre Admission forms.
We are contracted with all major Health Funds and will claim your theatre and accommodation charges directly through your Health Fund.
You will be asked to pay your excess (if applicable) on admission. Please check with your Fund if an excess applies, prior to your attendance at the Hospital.
You will receive a separate account from the doctor performing your procedure and your anaesthetist. Payment to Toowoomba Surgicentre does not cover doctor's and anaesthetist's fees.
It is important to note that the Toowoomba Surgicentre fee for surgery cannot be claimed through Medicare.
Patients who are not covered by private health insurance or Workcover are required to settle their account on the day of their procedure. Please contact your Health Insurance Provider prior to the procedure to check the coverage provided by your particular Health Fund.
