About Brisbane Day Surgery
Brisbane Day Surgery was established in 1997 as the Queensland Eye Centre, a dedicated ophthalmic day hospital. Since that time BDS has grown, moved location and developed into one of Australia’s largest stand-alone day hospitals with over 45 surgeons.
Brisbane Day Surgery is the hospital of choice for leading professionals in Ophthalmology, Oculoplastic, IVF, Gynaecology, and health administration. Brisbane Day Surgery is licensed with Queensland Health, and accredited to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
In December 2012, Queensland Eye Hospital became part of the Cura Day Hospitals Group.
