Queensland Eye Hospital Undergoes Major Rebrand and Expands Services

Cura Day Hospitals Group (Cura) is pleased to announce Queensland Eye Hospital is rebranding to Brisbane Day Surgery as of July 25.

Cura CEO Andrew Currie said the name change supports the company’s strategic priorities and growth agenda.

“We are looking to introduce a wider range of specialties and services for our patients and doctors, so it was important we reviewed our brand identity to better reflect that,” Mr. Currie said.

“Queensland Eye Hospital has developed an outstanding reputation over the past 25 years and is known as the state’s leading Ophthalmic day surgery, so I am confident patients will be delighted with both the rebrand and the expanded offering from late July.”

Queensland Eye Hospital CEO/Director of Nursing, Simone Hamilton, said the first new service to be introduced will be IVF, with procedures starting in July.

“Working in the Ophthalmic area, we feel as though we are changing lives with improved vision every day. IVF is another way we will make a positive impact on the community, by helping patients see their dream of starting a family come true,”
 she said.

Ms. Hamilton said the high level of service and reputation for excellent patient care will remain unchanged.

“Our patients, doctors, and staff remain our highest priority during this time,” she said.

“Nothing is more important than maintaining our high industry standards, excellent level of patient care, and team morale.”

Ms. Hamilton said she expects the hospital will go from strength to strength as Brisbane Day Surgery.

“Over the last few weeks, we have transitioned to using our new, rebranded collateral and patient material,” she said.

“We have also updated our corporate website and our emails to reflect this new name.”
